School Site Council

Serving on the School Site Council (SSC) is a great way for parents to support the educational goals and vision of MECHS.  SSC is a very important part of the school community that oversees the school plan to meet the educational needs of our students in accordance with the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and the use of funds for the improvement of the School and Library (SLIP funds). It is a group made up of MECHS staff (teachers, support staff, administrator), students, parents, and community members.  The council meets approximately eight times throughout the school year in the MECHS office on the third floor in the Gillmor building.  The meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

School Site Council Meetings


The next School Site Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 3:15 p.m.  We invite all interested parents/guardians, students and community members to join us in this important work to support teaching and learning for our school community. The meeting will take place at Mission College in the Gillmor Building on the 3rd floor, Room 328.
